Bubble Shooters Network was founded in 2021 by Boudewien Chalmers Hoynck van Papendrecht, an applied psychologist and strategist with a decade of experience at the intersection of arts, audiences and engagement. We have always worked with the conviction that arts and culture engagement should be a bigger part of daily life, because it strengthens wellbeing, empowers communities, and fosters understanding across society.
In its first years, the work focused on communication and social media strategy – helping cultural organisations become more visible, reach new audiences and create a bigger and stronger platform for arts and culture online. Over these five years, Bubble Shooters Network has worked with leading institutions including TEFAF, the Rijksmuseum and world renowned artists like DRIFT and Pipilotti Rist.
The work raised a persistent question: not just how to reach audiences, but how to genuinely affect them. As social media evolved over the years creating more distance between people in real life it became clear that to create positive impact with arts and culture the real opportunity lay elsewhere: in the direct, embodied experience of art itself. Bubble Shooters Network now focuses on exactly that. Applying the growing evidence on arts and health to help clients create experiences that genuinely improve the wellbeing and health of people.
