Community and audience engagement: Meeting people where they are

This is how we approach online community building, not by shouting louder, but by showing up where people already are with something they want.

Bubble Shooters Network is led by founder and director Boudewien, an applied psychologist. So interaction is at the core of everything we do. We use data and behavioural science to design strategies and interventions that drive audience participation, starting online, and building toward real-life engagement.

  • Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam

  • AkzoNobel Art Foundation

  • For the Stedelijk, we conducted research into how the museum could strengthen its connection with a more experience-driven, immersive-oriented audience. The project included both digital insights and an on-site intervention, like the sculpture garden including a newly developed visitor route and a tour concept.

  • For the art fair PAN Amsterdam, we focus on building relationships with both collectors and buyers, as well as the community of over 130 exhibitors. We created easy-to-use communication tools, like a WhatsApp group, to share content assets and increase participation during the fair.

  • For the corporate collection of AkzoNobel, we worked on increasing visibility through third-party channels like collaborations with artists, partner museums and galleries. This approach helped the foundation reach new audiences and introduce more people to AkzoNobel Art Foundation.
